Lusitania Reborn is the revival of the 1999-2001 Portuguese shard Lusitania, created and administrated by ShadWar and hosted initially on the IST and later on valnetsado.
Part of the development team were hardcore players from those times, and played through most of the shard's uptime.
The most part of relevant NPC's, their story, guilds and general events took place on the original Lusitania, though some things were retconned so they made more sense, especially when related to time — which passed at different rates for different characters and/or events. Other times we had to adapt the lore for different reasons, necessity or lack of knowledge from certain players. We tried to pay some tribute to most in one way or another.
Many players and guilds, though, aren't mentioned and the reason is simple. It doesn't mean those characters or guilds never existed, we simply can't afford to bring all characters to life. We focused on those guilds whose lore was more developed in the grand picture of the server, and characters who were more influential, powerful, or simply old enough for everyone to remember them. All the characters unmentioned never stopped existing, and any past players may revive them and help us by telling us what's his past story so we can update its wiki, and though some have been killed we chose only very prominent characters and had very specific motives.
